Explain what 'readership' means

Readership is the amount of individuals who read a newspaper, magazine or book. For example, a book that has a readership of 6000 means that 6000 individuals have read it.

Analysing the data, describe two differences between 'The Sun' and 'The Daily Mail' 

A greater demographic aged between 15-34 read The Sun as opposed to The Daily Mail. This suggests that The Sun is more predominant among younger audiences. 

In terms of social grades, The Sun appears to attract more individuals who are of a lower NRS Social Grade, as opposed to The Daily Mail, who attract higher social grades.

Describe and justify the type of content that may feature in four newspapers of your choice from the data provided

Newspaper 1: The Times

Content & justification: Typically have political content and very little, to no gossip. Tends to be read by individuals of a higher NRS Social Grade. This means that, stereotypically, the paper attracts literate and intellectual business people.
